How to Send Crypto?

10 cards

Sending crypto provides a direct channel with greater control and privacy over transactions. It offers instant and borderless transfers, lower fees, and the ability to transact anytime, anywhere.

You can transfer cryptocurrency to anyone who has a digital wallet. To begin, you'll need that wallet’s address.

It’s usually found within the crypto wallet account under the options "Receive," "Deposit," or "Wallet Address".

The transaction time depends on the network, its current activity, the number of required confirmations, etc

Sending Bitcoin can take between 5 minutes and an hour. Ethereum transactions usually take seconds or minutes.

You can send virtually any cryptocurrency you want, including popular ones like Bitcoin and Ethereum or niche altcoins and tokens. The only rule is that you have to own it.

Most assets should be sent through their respective native networks: BTC on Bitcoin, ETH, and ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum.

However, some tokens, like USDT, are available on multiple networks, such as Ethereum, Polygon, etc.

Although there are exceptions, you will have to pay fees for most transactions.

Usually, the busier the network, the higher the fee. Bitcoin and Ethereum fees also depend on the transaction’s size and complexity.

Once sent, you can’t get your cryptos back, so double-check the recipient’s address, the transaction amount, and the network.

You can also make a test transfer with a small amount before making the actual transaction.

In which situation will the transaction fee be higher?

High five!

You passed with flying colors. Ready to start your crypto journey?
